Why the Ortho Impact Inserts?
The Ortho inserts are used in training, sport and leisure riding. An ultra-light 5 mm thin high-density layer plus 12 mm open-cell breathable foam absorbs according to the manufacturer 90% of impact energy. Particularly suited to horses with deficits in back muscles, uneven muscle development or when the saddle temporarily does not fit properly. Matrix is the western pad brand of Toklat from the USA, known for pads with exchangeable inserts.
